Shelves account for a large proportion of the total investment in storage equipment, which has a great impact on the operation mode of the warehouse. Therefore, it is very important to choose a shelf that is relatively economical in design. Under the condition of ensuring the strength, rigidity and overall stability of the shelf, it is necessary to reduce the weight of the shelf as much as possible, reduce the consumption of steel, and reduce the requirements of the shelf on the pressure bearing capacity of the warehouse to meet the storage needs. There are many types of shelves, and the classification methods are not the same.
1. According to whether the shelf is fixed or mobile, it can be divided into:
(1). Fixed racks
Fixed racks can be subdivided into shelf racks, pallet racks, through racks, gravity racks, press-in racks, attic racks, steel structure platforms, cantilever racks, mobile racks, drawers racks, corbel racks, etc.
(2). Mobile racks
Mobile racks can be subdivided into mobile racks and revolving racks, of which mobile racks can be subdivided into light and medium-sized mobile racks (also known as dense racks, divided into manual and electric), heavy-duty pallet racks Mobile racks, rotary racks can be subdivided into horizontal rotary racks and heavy and straight rotary racks.
2. According to whether the overall structure of the shelf is welded or assembled, it can be divided into:
(1). Welded shelf
(2). Assembled shelf
At present, most of the domestic use of assembled shelves.
3. According to the connection between the racking system and the warehouse building structure, it can be divided into:
(1). The integrated rack
Racking system and the building roof form an inseparable whole. The building envelope (wall) structure is installed on the columns.
(2). The separated structural racking
System and the building are two separate systems, and there is no direct connection between them.
4. The load capacity of each layer of the unit rack can be roughly divided into:
(1). Light-duty rack: the load capacity of each layer is not more than 200kg.
(2). Medium-sized shelves: the load capacity of each layer is 200~500kg.
(3). Heavy-duty shelves: the load capacity of each layer is more than 500kg.
5. According to the height of the shelf is divided into:
(1). Low shelf: the height of 5m or less.
(2). High shelf: height 5 ~ 12m.
(3). Super high shelf: 12m or more.
